Hi! Thanks for visiting my site!
My name is Linda. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our house is perched on a hill and is kind of like a tree house. I feed the birds and squirrels. I even put up a squirrel house but no one moved in yet. Maybe they’re waiting for me to hang up curtains or something.
I am on the fun side of 50. I live with my husband Mike, my daughter Erica and our two boys Timmy and Kevin, (a labradoodle and an aussiedoodle). We do a lot of walking and love being active. We also love to sail and the Bay Area is one of the best places for that.
Some of my favorite quilting things:
- Fabric – and lots of it!
- Quilting blogs – I love reading everyone’s stories and looking at their pictures. I am amazed at what is out there!
- Quilt books and magazines – I never get tired of perusing!
- Fabric websites – especially the ones that save your credit card information so that you can buy even faster! (tee hee)
Here are some things I had a blast trying but was pretty bad at 🙂
- Participating in a Roller Hockey League. Words can not properly express how bad I was at this! You know you are hopelessly bad when the opposing team sincerely cheers for you when you do something right.
- Surfing – so this was fun, but only with teeny tiny waves.
I sure enjoyed your visit to my blog and wanted to thank you for linking up at the Let’s Bee Social party this week. But because you are on WordPress and I am on Blogger, you show up as a no reply blogger. So send me a note sometime at sewfreshquilts at gmail dot com!
Hi Lorna – I love your Let’s Bee Social link-up. So many fun things to look at and people are so sweet with their comments. I pop in to your blog quite a bit to look around – always something interesting going on 🙂
Also visiting from a comment you left on my blog, thanks! I would love you to join in a link up if you end up making a quilt by saving a square from each one! I was thinking and it would be fun to see what everyone comes up with, ugly or not LOL. So I’m going to plan a link up when the year is over, would love you to join in 🙂
Hi Christine – count me in! I think it will be a hoot to see how the quilt will come out! Using the leftover parts will be fun too 🙂
Hi Linda….I’m stopping by to admire your colorful qilt with the text print…and got caught up in looking around and getting to know ya! I added you blog to my blogroll and wanted to personally invite you to stop by my blog on Tuesdays for a new retro linky of sorts called: Tuesday Archives. The linky where you link up old quilting posts according to the weekly theme! I love your use of bright colors and look forward to following your future progress. Nice to meet ya! Hi Val – thanks for stopping by 🙂 I had a ball visiting your site earlier today. Love all the different projects you do and of course the pups 🙂
